Golden Cup in the Shape of Ginkgo Leaf

The “Ginkgo Leaf Golden Cup” has departed from the traditional wooden base of lacquerware. It is the first to use high-temperature colored glaze as the base. With the transparent base combined with the internal gold-plating process, when light penetrates, the cup body looks as if it is filled with flowing golden rays of light. Breaking through the traditional planar lacquering on the exterior, it adopts the intangible cultural heritage technique of “plant imprinting on lacquer” – pressing the veins of real ginkgo leaves onto the layer of natural Chinese lacquer, and then covering and dyeing it with a gradient of gold powder. The texture of the leaves blends with the color of the lacquer, creating a suspended effect of gilded autumn leaves that resembles a three-dimensional relief.
